2018 SIerra Vista Open

Once again the staff of GMS @ Pueblo del Sol were extremely happy to host the 34th annual Sierra Vista Open Golf Tournament. We would like to thank the Huachucans for another successful running of the SV Open and applaud their dedication to raising money for youth organizations around Cochise County for the last 30+ years.  Special thanks to Jeff Sims and his team at the clubhouse for all their help and continued unwavering support. To our hardworking GMS crew:  thanks for the quality of work on a daily basis and another awesome job at getting the course in shape for the Open. And finally,  CONGRATS  to the Back 2 Back winner in the Championship Flight, Duce Briggs....Bear Down !!!

Light topdressing of greens

In keeping with our plan to improve on our already good putting surfaces we have just completed our monthly light topdressing of the greens. This light "dusting" will improve putting green smoothness, increases firmness, help dilute thatch and aid in turf recovery. We will continue to monitor the weather conditions each month to figure out the best timing of our topdressing applications.
