Needle tine Greens........
With the above average temps that hit us early this month and with the high 90's coming by the end of the week, we wanted to get a needle tine aerification in on greens before the stress of the summer season begins. Needle tines will help "vent" the greens of the harmful build up of gases while increasing oxygen in the rootzone. It will also help help water penetrate some of our isolated dry spots and also help dry out overly saturated areas that are retaining water. It's a great process with minimal disturbance to play that we will be doing every 3-4 weeks.
